    1.在Windows2000中,活动目录的作用是什么?  
    活动目录是Windows2000网络中的目录服务,它是一种分布式目录,它使得组织机构可以有效地共享和管理关于网络资源和用户的信息,信息可以传到许多不同的计算机中,因而允许更加快速地访问和容错。无论信息在哪里被访问或者信息驻留在哪里,活动目录都为用户提供相同的数据视图。此外,活动目录也作为网络安全的集中管理机构,使得操作系统可以验证用户的身份并控制用户对网络资源的访问。
    2.什么是站?什么是域?二者的区别是什么?
    站点是由高速连接链接起来的一个或多个IP子网的组合。域是活动目录中逻辑结构的核心单元,是由管理员定义的共享公共目录数据库的计算机集合。  区别:站点映射了网络的物理结构,而域映射了用户的组织的逻辑结构。
    4.什么是树?什么是森林?二者的区别是什么?   
    树由若干个域组成,是对共享连续名字空间的Windows2000域的分层排列,这种分层关系反映了组织机构或业务的隶属关系。森林是不共享连续名字空间的一组树 
    区别:树是在共享连续名字空间下定义的而森林是不共享连续名字空间下定义的。
    5.DNS为活动目录提供了什么服务?
    DNS服务器用来存储和管理区域数据库文件中的资源记录。活动目录和DNS域名是对等的,DNS为活动目录完成命名和定位服务,每个活动目录域要求一个对应的DNS域。
